Nace en Atenas en 1967, y estudió piano clásico en el Conservatorio Nacional de Atenas. A los 16 decide dedicarse al Jazz. Su Baby Trio es creado para transmitir ese entusiasmo e inocencia que lo llevó al jazz en su juventud al formar un grupo con sus colegas.

George Kontrafouris was born in Athens, Greece in 1967. He studied classical piano at the National Conservatory in Athens. At the age of 16, he turned his interest to jazz music. Baby Trio was created so as to convey the naivety, the teenage enthusiasm and all the things that electrify a young musician when he is only starting out to play music with a group where its members are his friends.
